Our 2009 presentation reaffirms Northern Ireland’s strong presence in Venice. Curator Karen Downey presents a solo show by Susan MacWilliam, one of the leading artists to emerge from Northern Ireland in the last decade. Susan MacWilliam is carving a notable reputation for herself amongst the ranks of international contemporary visual arts. Participation at the Venice Biennale will bring her work to world-wide critical and commercial attention.
